Objective: To design promotional items for the Los Angeles spring fashion show campaign, highlighting the new looks for the upcoming season.

The direction I took was to illustrate two completely different models and styles posing in colors of spring to highlight the message of “spring” fashion show.
Adding motion to Instagram is a way to grab viewers attention. The motion elements in the blouse and hat are disruptive ways to get viewers to stop for a few seconds and read the message as the scroll through their busy feeds.
Before I bring any of my illustrations to the computer I like to sketch them out first, just to nail down the concept and save time correcting errors that I might run into later.
